Loyola Law School students visit Downtown Magnet High School

The Transactional Lawyering Institute has partnered with several local schools to introduce high school students to the role of business lawyers, the path to law school and hands-on learning exercises.

Loyola Law School students have joined Loyola Law School faculty on visits to high schools in Long Beach and Los Angeles, and have also presented to high school students visiting Loyola Law’s campus through the Young Lawyers program. Through this initiative, high school students learn what it takes to get into law school and the variety of ways in which lawyers may practice business law. Students have also participated in business negotiation exercises under the guidance of law students and law school faculty.
