When is the Virtual Celebration?
12 p.m. (PST) on Sunday, May 17
Do I have to participate?
Participation is voluntarily. Participation will not impact your opportunity to participate in Commencement.
What should I do if I am having trouble with my login or accessing the site to begin the process?
The site maybe currently experiencing a heavy amount of traffic. The company recommends the graduate to try to log-out, log-in and click "Shift+F5" to clear their cache. They are actively pursuing multiple solutions to make sure this isn't an on-going issue.
Is there a deadline to complete the process for the Virtual Celebration?
There two deadlines that must be met;
April 24 – you must login into Marching Order’s site and provide the phonetic spelling and record the pronunciation of you name to ensure that your name is announced correctly.
May 1 – final opportunity to edit your photo and/or messages.
What happens if I do not meet the deadline?
Every graduate’s name will be announced at part of the Virtual Celebration but if the April 24 deadline to provide the phonetic spelling and record the pronunciation of your name is not met, your name may not be announced correctly.
Every graduate will have a personalized slide as part of the Virtual Celebration but if the May 1 deadline to submit a photo or message is not met, your slide will display without a photo or message.
How many photos can I upload?
You may upload one image.
How many characters can the message accommodate?
There is a 150 character maximum.
What format is needed to upload my photo?
Photos must be formatted as .jpg or .png.
Can I change my photo or message?
Changes to photos and messages may be done through May 1.
Any changes made after May 1 will not be included in a graduate’s personal slide. Please note: Photos and messages will be reviewed for appropriateness. You will be contacted within 24 hours, if deemed inappropriate.
When will the slides be available to view to others?
The slides are a special component of the Virtual Celebration which will be accessible beginning at 12 p.m. (PST) on Sunday, May 17 at 12:00 pm.
