A dedicated Writing Specialist is provided to assist LLM students in American Legal Research & Writing with their graded assignments. The Writing Specialist works one-on-one with students, using a sample of their work to help diagnose and correct grammar, syntax, punctuation, and organization issues. Appointments with the Writing Specialist are set up during the last two weeks before the paper is due. Students may sign up for one 30-minute Zoom conference per week. Students must email a copy of their writing to the Writing Specialist at least 1 hour prior to their appointment and be prepared to screen share the same document during the appointment.
