Linda Whitfield received her JD, Order of the Coif, from Loyola Law School in 1992, and was appointed senior assistant dean for student services and dean of students in June 2017. In this role, Dean Whitfield oversees the office of student affairs, the office of the registrar, and the career development office. She earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California in 1987. Linda practiced law at Perkins Coie and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and worked as a volunteer at Legal Aid in Atlanta. Serving as assistant dean for career development from 2015-2017, she advised students and alumni and developed strategies, initiatives, and collaborations to maximize student and recent graduate preparation for the job market.
