Celebrating Robert Antunez’s 10-Year Anniversary with LCCR

The Loyola Center for Conflict Resolution (LCCR) is thrilled to celebrate a remarkable milestone: Robert  Antunez’s 10-year anniversary with LCCR. Antunez has been an invaluable asset to our organization, and we want to take a moment to highlight his journey and his exceptional contributions.

With over a decade of experience in mediation,  Antunez has built a distinguished career that exemplifies both professionalism and compassion. Before joining us,  Antunez trained at the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Dispute Resolution Services Office and honed his skills at the Inland Valley Justice Center. He currently serves as a conflict resolution associate with LCCR, where his expertise continues to shine.

Fluent in both Spanish and English, Antunez excels in fostering communication and understanding across diverse communities. His unique ability to connect with individuals from all backgrounds has greatly advanced our mediation efforts, and he consistently resolves a high number of disputes each month.

Antunez holds a bachelor's degree in political science from UCLA, a master’s degree in counseling from San Diego State University, and a JD from the West Los Angeles School of Law. His extensive educational background gives him a unique blend of knowledge and skills that makes him an exceptionally effective mediator.

Antunez is also a talented musician. He captivates audiences as both a solo pianist and a member of a band, sharing his artistic talent and creativity. His passion for music is a dimension of his personality that enriches our team culture.

As we celebrate Antunez’s 10 years with us, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for his dedication, hard work, and the positive energy he brings to our organization. His commitment to conflict resolution and his talent for fostering collaboration earn him a special place in our hearts. Students, staff, and community volunteers alike have learned so much from Robert.

This year, Antunez was a featured speaker at one of LCCR’s case review sessions. Antunez has spoken to LCCR’s students about his experience as a member of and his work with the community of those who have visual impairments. LCCR students shared how impactful it was to hear about Antunez’s experience, his unique perspective on the mediation process, and how it informs his work and approach to mediation at LCCR.

Please join us in congratulating Antunez on this incredible milestone! We look forward to many more years of working together and seeing the continued positive influence he has on our team and the community.
