Professor Martin’s main teaching areas are legal research and legal ethics, but he also is very interested in art law, legal aid practice, and the history of legal education.  He has been teaching legal research and advanced legal research courses for over 20 years and is the editor of the past 5 editions of Henke’s California Law Guide, one of the top research guides for California lawyers.  During law school he clerked with Legal Aid of Central Texas, based in Austin.  He gained additional experience working in a small Austin law firm and in the office of the Attorney General of Texas.  He has been a member of the Loyola Law School faculty since 2005.
