Special Presentations

The CDO regularly hosts presentations and panel discussions featuring speakers from a variety of legal backgrounds, often including Loyola alumni. These events offer students the opportunity to ask questions, explore legal career paths, and connect with practicing attorneys. Past programs have addressed topics such as effective interviewing, judicial field placements, small firm hiring, job search strategies beyond OCI, and practice areas including Employment, Health Care, Entertainment, International, and Business Law.

Off-Campus Interviewing Programs/Job Fairs

Loyola co-sponsors several interview programs in partnership with other ABA-accredited law schools, providing students with additional opportunities to connect with employers. These include events such as the Public Interest/Public Sector Career Day, co-hosted with UCLA. The CDO also shares information about off-campus interviews and job fairs, often organized by student groups and typically held at local convention centers or hotels.
