The Career Development Office (CDO) provides comprehensive, individualized career support for current students and alumni throughout every stage of their professional journey. Our career counselors help define career goals, explore opportunities, and develop effective job search strategies. Whether you're preparing application materials, practicing for interviews, or navigating a career pivot, your assigned counselor is available to meet virtually or in person.

While the CDO cannot place you in a job, we provide the tools, guidance, and resources to help you pursue meaningful employment.

First-year students are required to meet with their assigned career counselor during the Fall semester. In this meeting, your counselor will review your career interests and goals, and work with you to develop a job search strategy and timeline for summer employment. 1L JD Day Student Timeline

Second-year students are encouraged to keep your interview skills sharp and your resume updated as you gain new work experience. Make an appointment with your counselor for mock interview and resume review. 2L JD Day Student Timeline

Third year students are required to meet with their counselor for a Graduate appointment in the Spring. In this meeting, we will discuss your job prospects for post grad employment, job search strategies, and the CDO resources available to you post grad. 3L JD Day Student Timeline

Alumni can use career services for life. Contact the CDO office for career support for resume review, job search strategies, and mock interviews. If you love to give back to LLS students by presenting a workshop, sitting on a panel, or providing mentorship etc, contact us and we will be happy to help. Timeline for Recent Grads
