
Priya Sridharan is a seasoned higher education leader with extensive experience in strategic planning, innovation and transformation, leadership and team development, and strategic and executive communications. A graduate of Berkeley Law School, Sridharan started her career in law, politics, and policy and has worked in higher education for over 20 years.
Sridharan returns to LMU Loyola Law School after serving as Chief of Staff to the 16th President of Occidental College, where she co-chaired and co-authored Oxy’s most recent strategic plan, worked closely with the Board of Trustees, managed executive and crisis communications, co-chaired multiple task forces and committees, and provided critical leadership during a period of significant transition.
Prior to her tenure at Oxy, Sridharan served as Loyola’s Associate Dean for Student Affairs (2014-17) and Associate Dean for Graduate Programs and Strategic Initiatives (2017-21). During this time, Sridharan led several transformative initiatives and institutional changes, including launching sustainable strategies for significant improvement in graduate employment outcomes, expanding enrollment in new graduate degree programs, supporting the launch of the school’s first online degree programs, and overseeing major technology and systems implementations. As Dean of Students at USC Gould School of Law, Priya improved student engagement and student support services and strengthened student services collaborations with faculty and staff colleagues.
As Chief of Staff and Associate Dean for Institutional Strategy, Sridharan works closely with the Dean to support the Dean’s vision, strategy, priorities, management, and engagement with the law school community; collaborates with the law school’s senior leadership and university colleagues on short-and long-range strategic planning and resource management for the law school; and provides senior-level support for significant projects and activities for the Dean's Office.
