Background
Victoria Russell joined Loyola Law School in the Fall of 2025 as an Assistant Reference Librarian. She is excited to support the LMU and LLS communities and is passionate about information literacy, research instruction, and expanding access to legal education.
Prior to pursuing her MLIS, Victoria worked as a Legal Research Assistant at the UCLA Resnick Center for Food Law & Policy, where she developed a strong interest in academic and legal research.
Victoria earned her B.A., summa cum laude, in Sociology from The George Washington University and her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, where she specialized in Critical Race Studies. She is currently pursuing her Master of Library and Information Science at the San José State University School of Information.
Victoria is a member of the American Library Association (ALA), the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL), and the Southern California Association of Law Libraries (SCALL).
