Background

Laura Cadra is Senior Reference and Collection Development Librarian. She joined Loyola as Faculty Services librarian in 2006. She previously served as Head of Reference and Research Services and Foreign and International Law Librarian. Prior to joining Loyola, Laura was a reference librarian at UCLA Law Library and Head of Reference Services at USC Law Library. Before receiving her MLIS degree, Laura worked in general civil litigation.

Laura is a member of the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) and is a member and past president of the Southern California Chapter of the American Association of Law Libraries (SCALL).

Laura served as co-editor of a regular feature in Law Library Journal and has published several chapters in CEB publications on legal research. She is co-author (with Daniel W. Martin, Professor Emeritus) of Henke’s California Law Guide, 9th edition (forthcoming 2022).
