Background

Geoffrey Kehlmann teaches Legal Research and Writing and directs the Ninth Circuit Appellate Clinic.

After graduating from Loyola Law School, Professor Kehlmann practiced in the Complex Commercial Litigation and Employment & Labor groups at Sidley Austin LLP. He then served as a law clerk to the Honorable Harry Pregerson of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Before joining Loyola full time, Professor Kehlmann taught Appellate Advocacy and coached law students in national appellate advocacy competitions while practicing at Greines, Martin, Stein & Richland LLP. He also taught Legal Research and Writing at UCLA School of Law.
