William G. Coskran Chair

Thank you for your interest in supporting the William G. Coskran Chair. All gifts in any amount are appreciated.

The chair is a wonderful tribute to Professor Coskran's long and distinguished career at Loyola Law School.

Professor Coskran graduated from Loyola Law School in 1959 and received the prestigious Aggeler Award for graduating first in his class. Upon graduation, Coskran worked for the U.S. Air Force J.A.G. department as a certified trial and defense attorney from 1960 - 1962.  He then began a private practice with the firm O'Neil, Huxtable & Coskran, practicing primarily in real property and construction law.  In 1960, Coskran began his illustrious career as an adjunct professor teaching property courses at Loyola Law School.  He taught full time at Loyola from 1968 - 1995.  He continues to teach part time at the Law School as a professor emeritus.

The chair not only serves as a wonderful tribute to Professor Coskran — it also allows the Law School to recruit and retain top faculty who represent the best qualities of Professor Coskran.
