Core Requirements
The requirements for the Civil Litigation and Advocacy Specialization were developed by an advisory group of practitioners and academics, both alumni and friends of Loyola with the intent of preparing graduates to be exposed to the legal doctrines and skills necessary to be effective attorneys.
The LLM degree requires 24 total units of credit. The Civil Litigation and Advocacy Specialization will be recognized with the satisfactory completion of 17 units of prescribed coursework. This includes 17 units of required courses.
Required Courses
Successful completion of the following required courses:
- Evidence (4 units)
- Civil Procedure (4 units)
- Trial Advocacy (3 units) (Evidence is a prerequisite for Trial Advocacy - 4 unit course)
