LAUSD School Board Candidates Questionnaire

The Coelho Center collaborates with the disability community to cultivate leadership and advocate innovative approaches to advance the lives of people with disabilities.

In an effort to inform our community of the plans and policies that the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) School Board Candidates plan to pursue, The Coelho Center in partnership with Loyola Law School's Youth Justice Education Clinic reached out to candidates to ask questions related about the following topics:

I. The Future of Special Education

II. Special Education Hiring and Retention

III. Funding

IV. Accountability

V. IDEA Requirements

Candidates had the opportunity to respond to some or all of the questions. You can view the candidate's responses by selecting their names below. Note: The Coelho Center for Disability Law, Policy and Innovation does not endorse candidates for office.
