ADVOCATES
ADVOCATES IN ACTION
Students collaborate with key stakeholders, including survivors, policymakers, advocacy groups, and community organizations, to assess current policies and develop survivor-centered strategies to prevent human trafficking. This includes advocating before government entities, such as the City Council and Board of Supervisors, to push for systemic change and increased support for survivors. Through research, public comment, and direct engagement with elected officials, students play a critical role in shaping policies that enhance protections for survivors and strengthen local anti-trafficking efforts.
