The Center for Juvenile Law and Policy invites you to its annual film screening.  This year, the Center will be showing Gideon's Army, an award-winning 2013 HBO documentary about Gideon's Promise (formerly known as the Southern Public Defender Training Center), an organization seeking to revolutionize the way Americans thinks about indigent defense and fighting to make "justice for all" a reality.

The film will be followed by a panel discussion featuring:

André Ríos Bollinger, Deputy Public Defender for the County of San Diego and an alumnus of Loyola Law School and the Juvenile Justice Clinic.

Irene Joe, Academic Research and Teaching Fellow at UCLA School of Law.  Her research focuses on the ethical reformation of public defender systems in the United States. 

Cassandra Olsen, currently working at the Alternate Defenders Office of Orange County. Cassandra graduated from the evening program at LLS in May of 2012. She participated in the Juvenile Justice Clinicd uring her last year at LLS. 

Professor Samantha Buckingham, Co-Director of the Juvenile Justice Clinic will serve as moderator for the panel.
