George Fatheree

“I remember driving into my office, listening to the radio, and hearing my professors talk about the most important cases in the news, and then, a few hours later, I'd be in their class raising my hand, asking questions.” George C. Fatheree III ’07

“People come from so many walks of life and most of them are similar to me — they have families, they have full-time jobs. They're balancing and juggling, just like I am, but they’re dedicated. And they know they want this. We kind of are all on equal footing, in terms of everyone's different life experiences and all that they do every day in their lives.” Toni Washington ’23

LMU Loyola Law School's JD Evening Program, No. 1 in its class in the West, is being rebooted with a hybrid schedule requiring a regular commitment of one night a week on our downtown Los Angeles campus. Designed from the ground up to provide compelling classroom content and discussions using innovative technology, the program draws on the law school's 100-plus years of teaching excellence.

Hybrid Juris Doctor (JD) Program

Loyola Law School’s Hybrid Juris Doctor (JD) program provides students the opportunity to study law and related disciplines in a rigorous and collaborative environment. This part-time program is designed for students who for reasons of employment, family, or other responsibilities are not able to carry a full-time course load.

Featuring a schedule that requires an on-campus commitment of just one night a week (most weeks of the semester) and one night virtually, its curriculum blends a unique mix of instruction with experiential training. Evening students, like full-time students, have the opportunity to participate in the various extracurricular activities and student organizations on campus. That includes writing onto one of the law school’s prestigious law reviews or applying for one of the law school's clinical programs.

With prominent faculty members and cutting-edge programs, LLS Hybrid JD students have unparalleled opportunities to position themselves for success in the legal field.
