Loyola Law School announces a Jazz salon series

The music salon flourished in France during the 17th and 18th centuries. The music salon is "a gathering of people under the roof of an inspiring host, held partly to refine the taste and increase the knowledge of the participants through music and conversation.” These gatherings consciously aim to please and to educate.

Each salon will feature an artist or theme, and will include discussion of the featured music or artist to increase participants’ knowledge through conversation. Three salons will be hosted by Professor Gary Williams. Two will be hosted by students Trevor Wynn and Geoffrey Gallegos. The salon schedule:

The salon sessions will be held in the Multicultural Room, Casassa 404.They will run from noon – 12:50 p.m. While the sessions are BYOL (Bring Your Own Lunch), the law school will provide liquid refreshments.
