Accessing textbooks and study aids on VitalSource

To get started, create a VitalSource account using your Loyola Law School email address.

  • Here are instructions on creating a Bookshelf account for both students and instructors. View a short video on how to register and borrow books from the program.
  • Once you've created an account, Sign In and click on the “Explore” tab in the upper left corner of the screen. This tab provides access to the freely available e-textbooks.
  • For a complete list of VitalSource frequently asked questions regarding access to the VitalSource Helps Program, please visit their site to learn more.
  • Please note that at this time, student downloads are limited to 7 titles and trial access will expire on Monday, May 25th, 2020.

Accessing study aids on the WestAcademic platform

WestAcademic is offering free study aids for all students through the end of the semester. Examples of study aids include Federal Courts Hornbook, Contracts Nutshell, Gilberts on Property, and Acing Civil Procedure.

Accessing study aids on Wolters Kluwer Online Study Aid Library

Wolters Kluwer is providing all students with free digital access to the Wolters Kluwer Online Study Aid Library from now through July 1, 2020.

Additional Textbooks:

  • WestAcademic is offering free e-book versions of “course casebooks” for students who are missing their own print copies, for example, Paul Hayden’s Ethical Lawyering 4th edition. If you need one, contact support@westacademic.com.
  • ProView is available for some West publications. Use your West OnePass log in to get access to individual titles.

In addition, our licensed Databases are always available remotely.
