Reference librarians at Rains Library provide a variety of services to train faculty research assistants in scholarly legal research tasks. These services include instructing research assistants in search techniques and providing information on available electronic and print resources.
Research assistant training may be informal (e.g., research assistants may stop by the reference desk or email the faculty member's Library liaison for assistance on a particular question) or more structured (e.g., a scheduled training at the outset of a research assistant's position.)
If you would like to set up a training session for a research assistant, please contact your library liaison for scheduling. A list of library liaisons for individual faculty members is available in the Appendix of the Faculty Handbook.
