Background

Jacob Samuelson is a reference librarian in the William M. Rains Library, where he provides research and reference services to members of the law school community. He also teaches several sections of Legal Research in the first-year curriculum.

Prior to joining the library in 2021, he worked as an attorney in Pennsylvania, where he maintains an active license. Before law school, he worked as a firefighter, EMT and ocean lifeguard in southern New Jersey hometown.

He is a member of the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) and the Southern California Association of Law Libraries (SCALL).
