Cyndie Chang Bus Shelter

Cyndie M. Chang '03

"Loyola attracted me because it had a great reputation, a solid alumni base, a beautiful campus and a well-recognized trial advocacy program," says Chang, a partner at Duana Morris LLP.

Chang is a constant presence on the Loyola campus, where she frequently returns to speak to students about developing their careers.

She urges them to become involved in bar association activities. “They offer so many resources,” she says, including opportunities for members to learn, serve and network.

John Houston Bus Shelter

John Houston '21

Five years ago, John moved to Los Angeles to become an actor. A little later, he started a film production company. But he’d grown up in a political family, on the edge of Washington, D.C., so there was always a side of him that wasn’t entirely fulfilled working in the entertainment industry.

“I realized there were parts of the filmmaking process I knew nothing about, like contracts and the business side – things that had nothing to do with camera angles or lenses.”

Houston is in his first year of Loyola's new Entertainment Law Fellows program. "It's a program that really provides incredible access, and that's something I couldn't find anywhere else but Loyola."
