Larry Droeger has been a Deputy District Attorney for Los Angeles County for the past 32 years. During that time he has worked as a trial attorney, completing over 100 jury trials, including 50 murder cases, and has led the office’s Training Division and Hardcore Gang Division. He currently is the Director of the Bureau of Specialized Prosecutions, which includes the Sex Crimes, Family Violence, Community Violence Reduction, Major Crimes, Crimes Against Police Officers, Major Narcotics, Target Crimes, and Juvenile Divisions. He is a member of the working group tasked with the development of bail reform policy within the office. He has been married for the past 30 years and has three adult children.
