On Oct. 15, Professor Karl Manheim was quoted by the Daily Journal regarding California’s Prop. 37, which would force the labeling of foods containing genetically modified organisms. In the story, he quoted saying:

"The United States has already sued Europe for its restrictions on GMO foods ... so I can only imagine that if a particular state starts regulating GMO foods, the federal government would get quite concerned."
