Prof. Justin Hughes awarded U.S. Department of Commerce Gold Medal
Professor Justin Hughes, the William H. Hannon Professor of Law at Loyola, received the prestigious U.S. Department of Commerce Gold Medal, the highest honor presented by the Secretary of Commerce.
Hughes, who teaches, researches and writes on intellectual property issues, served as the U.S. chief negotiator for two recent multilateral intellectual property treaties, the Beijing Treaty on Audiovisual Performances (2012) and the Marrakesh Treaty for the Blind (2013).
