Goldman discusses Hollywood’s sliding scale of justice with AP
Professor Stanley Goldman weighs-in on Hollywood's "sliding scale" of justice when it comes to celebrities like Nate Parker and Mel Gibson's bad behavior and the affect it has on their careers with the Associated Press. Professor Goldman says:
"There's a reason the law has statues of limitations. We don't want somebody's past continuing to haunt them…But maybe time should not heal all wounds. Our crimes should, perhaps, follow us. But there should be some basis for it."
