Graham Sherr, Esq., Assistant Dean
Graham Sherr is a 1980 graduate of Vanderbilt Law School and has been involved in legal recruiting and career counseling since leaving law practice in 1982. His combined legal experience as a law student and attorney includes stints at a state agency, two public interest programs and a large Los Angeles law firm. Prior to joining the Office of Career Services in 1994, Graham spent nearly 12 years as a legal "headhunter" placing attorneys in major Southern California law firms. In addition to counseling students and alumni, Graham works to expand the Law School's network of employers.
Marla Najbergier, Associate Director
Marla Najbergier has worked with the Office of Career Services since 1999. She is responsible for counseling students and recent graduates and coordinating the Bridge to Practice Fellowship Program. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and worked as a recruiter for seven years prior to her time at Loyola. She uses her extensive knowledge and experience working with students, graduates and employers to help increase employment prospects.
Jill Rowse, Associate Director
Jill Rowse has been a colleague at a neighboring law school, serving as acting director and then director of Career Services before joining our office in July 2002. Her background includes extensive experience working in a variety of practice-oriented legal settings, in addition to working with students and administrators as assistant registrar in a law school. Jill serves as a career advisor for students, develops and presents workshops and panels for students and cultivates both traditional and alternative employment opportunities.
Brooke Loesby, Esq., Assistant Director
Brooke Loesby became a member of the Career Services staff in 2008. She enjoys sharing her life coaching skills and experience in firm recruitment to assist Loyola Law School students in pursuing their career goals. Brooke is a certified administrator of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. Her background includes work as a legislative assistant on Capitol Hill, labor and employment associate for Akin Gump and contract attorney for Quinn Emanuel. Brooke received her Juris Doctor cum laude from Pepperdine University Law School in 2006.
Linda Whitfield, Esq., Assistant Director
Linda Whitfield received her Juris Doctor cum laude from Loyola Law School in 1992. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California in 1987. Linda practiced law at Perkins Coie and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and worked as a volunteer at Legal Aid in Atlanta. She has 3 years of prior experience working in the Office of Career Services. In her current position, she advises students and alumni on resumes, networking and interviewing skills. Linda also coordinates Office of Career Services programs including the Government Fair.
Sumana C. Wolf, Esq., Assistant Director
Sumana Cooppan Wolf received her J.D. from UCLA School of Law in 2009 with a specialization in Critical Race Studies. She earned her Bachelor of Arts cum laude in English from Williams College in 2004. Prior to joining the Office of Career Services in 2013, Sumana worked as an associate at the boutique law firm of Rosen Bien Galvan & Grunfeld LLP in San Francisco, where her practice focused on civil rights, prisoners’ rights, and business litigation. In her current position, Sumana counsels and advises students and graduates on resumes, interviewing skills, job searches, networking, and career goals.
Megumi T. Horinouchi, Assistant Director, Recruitment & Operations
Megumi Tomatsu Horinouchi serves as the Career Services recruitment coordinator, data analyst, and office administrator. She organizes the annual On-Campus Interview (OCI) programs, manages the law school Symplicity system, maintains its databases, and compiles various reports. Additionally, Megumi leads the administrative team in providing general support for the entire department. Before joining the Career Services team in 2007, Megumi worked at UCLA where she earned her Bachelor of Arts cum laude in Sociology and Asian American Studies, and earned a Minor in Education.
Corrie Buck, Career Services Coordinator
Corrie Buck joined the Career Services staff in 2014. Prior to Loyola Law School, she worked as the Director of Compliance at a local film school. She earned her Bachelor of Art’s cum laude in Literature and Sociology from Point Loma Nazarene University. She organizes many of the Office of Career Services events and workshops.
Angela Winzey, Senior Career Services Assistant
Angela Winzey became a part of the Career Services team in the spring of 2014. While pursuing her BA degree in Psychology, she worked for the bankruptcy consulting firm Kurtzman Carson Consultants. After completing school she went on to work as a Customer Service Specialist for TOMS shoes where she was able to participate in a giving trip to Managua, Nicaragua. Angela is here to assist with any scheduling or reciprocity needs and manages the Symplicity job board.
