Thank you for your support of the Law School through your gift of securities. By giving appreciated securities held long-term (one year or more), not only do you provide funding to Loyola Law School, you may also reduce the amount of your taxable income. You may deduct the full market value of your stock, avoiding capital gains taxes on the appreciation.
