Class Gift Campaign - FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How does alumni participation benefit me?
When you fulfill your pledge with annual gifts to Loyola Law School, you increase the value of your law degree by raising our alumni participation rate. "Participation" is the percentage of alumni who make a gift of any amount to the law school each year. Participation is not just a statistic—it is the primary way alumni support is measured and has an impact on Loyola Law’s reputation. By making a gift, you demonstrate the value you place on your legal education and your connection to Loyola Law. Our participation rate is viewed as a vote of alumni satisfaction and is often considered by corporations and foundations when directing gifts to Loyola Law. As an alum, you also benefit as Loyola Law continues to excel, provides an outstanding legal education and attracts the best and brightest students. Your gift demonstrates the strength and loyalty of Loyola Law alumni.
Why does participation in the 2013 Class Gift matter?
Your participation in the Class Gift matters because it underscores the strength of support of Loyola Law students and alumni. Additionally, your annual class gift payments help Loyola Law’s overall alumni participation rate—one of the primary ways alumni satisfaction and support at universities are evaluated. By making a pledge to the Class Gift, you are reaffirming your support to Loyola Law School and impacting its future.
When do I have to pay?
Nothing now. Your first payment is due between January 1, 2014 and May 31, 2014. You will be sent an annual pledge reminder. You will pay off your pledge over five years with the expected final payment in 2018.
How will contributions to the 2013 Class Gift be allocated?
The 2013 Class Gift will raise funds for bar prep stipend.
