Ashley M. Farrell is an associate attorney with Greenberg Traurig, LLP, practicing labor, employment and general business law litigation in Los Angeles, CA.  Daniel Kim and classmate Blake Gillman are both in the Army JAG Corps and deployed to Kandahar and Bagram, Afghanistan, respectively.  They recently met up with each other at Kandahar Airbase for a mini Loyola Law School reunion.  Ed Pak, recently of Connon Wood Scheidemantle LLP, joined Entertainment Partners—a payroll and production management company based in Burbank, CA which serves the entertainment industry—as in-house legal counsel.  Kyle Tracy practices as an associate with Simon Greenstone Panatier Bartlett, PC in Long Beach, CA, representing clients in asbestos litigation and wrongful death litigation cases.


Scott M. Dommes (LL.M) is an associate with the tax and joint venture practice group at Allen Matkins in Los Angeles, CA.  Lillian A. Kabakali joined the compliance department at the global investment management firm Pacific Investment Management Company LLC (PIMCO), headquartered in Newport Beach, CA.  Paymon Khatibi of real estate law firm Robert J. Jackson and Associates, Inc. was named to the California Mortgage Bankers Association’s Young Leaders Program.  Miranda A. Mossavar practices as an associate with Littler Mendelson P.C. in west Los Angeles, CA, specializing employment law.


Eric Bender is a deputy legislative counsel with the Office of Legislative Counsel in Sacramento, CA.  Heber J. Moran opened a bilingual, family law practice with his sister; Moran and Moran, LLP is located in Upland, CA.  Joelle Sires joined McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP as an associate in Denver, CO, focusing on government contracts, intellectual property and international law.


Andrew Arons won the 2013 Roscoe Hogan Environmental Law Essay Contest for his essay, “Citizens United v. FEC:  The Straightjacket on Campaign Finance Reform;” the contest’s topic was, “Is Democracy for Sale?”
