Dr. David Gyepes heads Atrium Experts, one of the largest forensic expert witness groups in the United States.  In 2014, he co-founded AG Seminars, a continuing education company offering expert witness training for a wide range of professionals.

Daniel Parsons is now teaching classes as an adjunct professor, as part of the Elder Law Certificate program, at John Marshall Law School, Chicago, Illinois.  He is a Certified Elder Law Attorney and continues to maintain an Elder Law practice in Geneva, Illinois. 


Jill (Robin) Linhardt is senior vice president of claims at NAS Insurance; the family-owned company, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, and has expanded from Los Angeles to Atlanta, Boston, Chicago and Minneapolis.


Sharon Kopman was recently promoted to a new position - Senior Vice President, Real-Equip Acquisitions & Legal Affairs at Hackman Capital Partners, LLC, a private equity real estate investment company. As of April 2015, she has been at Hackman for 3 years leading the Real-Equip. acquisitions department.


Wendy Wen Yun Chang, a partner in Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP's Los Angeles office, was appointed to the American Bar Association Standing Committee on Ethics and Professional Responsibility, effective at the close of the ABA's annual meeting on August 4, 2015.

Scott D. Fleming, Of Counsel at the Las Vegas office of Armstrong Teasdale, has been elected to a one-year term as vice chair of the Bankruptcy Law Section of the State Bar of Nevada. The Bankruptcy Law Section was created to enhance the role and skills of lawyers engaged in the practice of bankruptcy law through study, collection, development and dissemination of relevant materials.

J. Kevin Stockstill has been selected to the 2015 list as a member of the Nation’s Top One Percent by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel.  NADC is an organization dedicated to promoting the highest standards of legal excellence. Its mission is to objectively recognize the attorneys who elevate the standards of the bar and provide an example for other lawyers to emulate.  


Lamdien (Dien) Le joined Tharpe & Howell, LLP in Sherman Oaks as a senior associate on the Employment Law Team


Kyra E. Andrassy, along with other seasoned bankruptcy attorneys, has launched a new law firm, Smiley Wang-Ekvall, LLP in Costa Mesa, with an additional office in Los Angeles. The new firm specializes in insolvency, real estate transactions and business litigation.  Additionally, Andrassy was named a Super Lawyer in 2012, 2013 and 2014, most recently being selected to be a part of OC Metro magazine's 2014 Top Bankruptcy Attorneys list.


Matthew Swanlund launched the legal practice AESTHETIC LEGAL in March. It is founded upon his belief in the power of creativity to improve the world- to make it more beautiful, more meaningful, more joyful. He will continue to serve clients in the arts, entertainment, real estate, publishing, design, advertising and technology industries.

Kendra Deter Jones moved to Epson America, Inc. in Long Beach as the vice president legal affairs and general counsel.



 Jeannie M. Joseph has been appointed as a new judge to the Superior Court of California, County of Orange.  Joseph had served as deputy chief of the Santa Ana Branch Office at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Central District of California since 2002.
