Janet L. Chubb, a partner in Armstrong Teasdale’s Reno, NV office, was selected for the 2012 Mountain States Super Lawyers and the 2013 Southern California Super Lawyers list, in the category of bankruptcy and creditor and debtor rights; Chubb is a member of the firm’s financial restructuring, reorganization and bankruptcy practice group.

Patrick M. Kelly, regional managing partner with the Los Angeles office of Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker LLP, was sworn in as the 88th president of the California State Bar.
Judiciary
The Hon. Lawrence W. Crispo ’61 was among the three persons who received the Metropolitan News-Enterprise’s Person of the Year Award for 2012. Crispo, who retired in 2004 from the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles, now practices in private dispute resolution and is a member of the Legal Voices of the Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic. Crispo has served as president of the Italian American Lawyers Association, vice president of the California State Bar, national trustee of the American Inns of Court, and president of the Loyola Law School Alumni Association board of governors.
The Hon. William F. Rylaarsdam ’64, associate justice for the California Court of Appeal, was inducted as an honoree into the Loyola Law School chapter of the Order of the Coif during on-campus ceremonies held in December 2012.
