Join Jamie and Hillary to learn about practicing transactional entertainment and corporate law in various environments. Jamie and Hillary both practice transactional law. Hillary focuses on the “talent” side of the business, representing actors, hosts, experts, writers, directors, and independent producers. Jamie focuses on the corporate side of the entertainment business. She has experience structuring, negotiating, and drafting contracts for entertainment and business transactions including mergers and acquisitions, business entity set-up, maintenance and restructuring, licensing, and employment deals. Hillary has worked at mid-sized law firms, as well as in-house for entertainment companies, and now works for a boutique law firm, while Jamie has her own law practice.

Loyola Connecting Points provides alumni who have graduated within the past five years with an opportunity to network and learn from Loyola Law School's vast and talented alumni community. Each event, or "Connecting Point," will focus on a specific area of practice, topic of interest or affinity, and will be designed to further the professional development of Loyola's recent alumni and help them establish successful careers.
