Join Ms. Nguyen and Ms. Cao for a happy hour featuring casual interaction about the importance of, and changing aspects of professional networking in today’s metropolitan legal market, in an era when an associate’s first firm is rarely their last. Ms. Nguyen and Ms. Cao practice primarily in the areas of business law, employment law, construction law and professional liability law. Ms. Nguyen is also an adjunct professor at Loyola Law School.

Parking: Metered parking on street and multiple lots surrounding courthouse - closest on Birch between 3rd & 4th

Danielle Criona is a 1999 Loyola Law School graduate and focuses her practice on Intellectual Property legal issues and litigation. She has been Senior Intellectual Property Counsel for Roll Law Group for the last four years, and previously practiced at firms such as Jones Day and Sidley. She currently serves as the President of the Board of Governors of the Loyola Law School Alumni Association.

Joie Marie Gallo is a 1995 Loyola Law School cum laude graduate and currently works as Special Counsel at Roll Law Group, focusing on general civil litigation in business and employment matters. Tammy Akerman received her LLM in Taxation from Loyola Law School in 2007, having graduated law school from McGill University in 2001. She currently focuses on Intellectual Property law and litigation, but began her legal career focused on corporate/commercial, mergers and acquisitions, and project finance work.

Michael Javaheri is 2007 Loyola Law School graduate and currently works as Litigation Counsel at Roll Law Group, focusing on general business litigation.

From trusts to settlements, lawyers often find themselves handling money on behalf of others.  Learn about the duties, responsibilities and potential pitfalls that arise when handling the funds of others.

Derek Greeff is a Managing Director at Ameriprise Financial, a 120 year-old Fortune 500 company with more than 10,000 financial advisors. Starting at UBS and then Merrill Lynch before coming to Ameriprise, Mr. Greeff is highly regarded throughout the industry.  He is entrusted with the management of significant volumes of assets in a discretionary account on behalf of numerous clients including trusts, legal professionals and wealthy individuals.

John Horn '96 has an MBA in Finance and is now a Financial Advisor at Ameriprise Financial.  Over the past two decades he has managed a variety of dispute resolution companies and has been an adjunct professor at Loyola for the past 13 years.  His focus at Ameriprise is providing assistance for attorneys and law firms in the management and maintenance of client assets.
