Job Description Summary:

Loyola Law School, located in the downtown Los Angeles area, has an immediate job opening for an Admissions Assistant. Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to greeting and screening prospective Law School applicants and others; answering, responding and directing incoming telephone calls; and providing general information about admissions to the Law School. Will also be responsible for the initial screening and processing of LLM, JD, MBA and transfer admissions applications; coding the database system; maintaining application logs; processing application fees; preparing files for review; and other duties as assigned.

Education:

A high school diploma (or equivalent) is required. An Associate of Arts degree is desired.

Experience:

A minimum of three years of experience in office and secretarial work is required.

Knowledge/Ability:

Knowledge of modern office practices and the correct use of English language, spelling, grammar and rhetoric. Knowledge of MS Word is required. Knowledge of MS Excel is preferred.
