Hotel Accommodations

Fellows will be housed at the nearby Hilton Checkers Hotel.   Each room in this European-styled boutique hotel is equipped with 27" flat screen TV's, high-speed internet access (additional charge), plush robes, marble bathrooms with Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries, and iPOD adaptable alarm radio clocks in each room. Checkers has a Spa offering treatments to refresh and relax your mind and fully-equipped exercise facility to invigorate your body.  Checkers is located in the heart of the downtown financial district and is within easy walking distance to the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Ahmanson Theater and Staples Center.

Fellows should plan to arrive in Los Angeles by Wednesday morning, June 18, departing Sunday, June 22.

ADDITIONAL FESTIVITIES

Casual receptions & dinners. After a day of classes you will have the opportunity to meet in informal settings with faculty, participating judges, fellow journalists and leading lawyers. 

GRADUATION

Saturday, June 21st from 7:00pm until approx. 10:00pm
The closing event on Saturday evening will feature a reception and banquet.
Speaker to be announced.

CLASSES AND LECTURES

Held on the Loyola Law School campus in downtown Los Angeles. While on campus you will have free wireless access as well as access to fax and copy machines.
