Loyola Law School graduates are highly regarded and actively sought in the legal job market. Loyola has long played a major role in the Los Angeles and Southern California legal communities. Many of the most influential law firms in California have large numbers of partners and associates who are graduates of Loyola. At the same time, many of our graduates have chosen small firm practice or decided to utilize their legal skills in public service, business and commerce or other non-traditional careers.

Introduction

The Office of Career Services vigorously pursues new employment opportunities and resources for the benefit of Loyola students, working with them during law school careers and beyond.

According to data from the National Association of Law Placement (NALP), California ranks second only to New York as the state employing the largest number of law school graduates. Both states have been consistently ranked in that order by NALP since 1989. The large number of jobs available in California partly accounts for why many Loyola graduates choose to stay here. However, Loyola graduates can be found working in major cities across the nation and around the world.
