Loyola Immigrant Justice Clinic
The Loyola Immigrant Justice Clinic’s mission is to advance the rights of the indigent immigrant population in East Los Angeles through pro bono direct legal services, education, and community empowerment, while teaching law students effective immigrants’ rights lawyering skills in a real world setting.
LIJC focuses on providing representation to individuals who are particularly vulnerable to deportation due to their low-income status, cultural and linguistic isolation and limited education. These clients are identified through free legal consultations held at Dolores Mission Church and Homeboy Industries. Your gift will make an impact on the protections, due process, and family stability of the immigrant community.
