Visiting Students, Special Students and Auditors

Eligibility

Any law student who is currently attending another American Bar Association (ABA) accredited law school and is in good academic standing can apply as a non-matriculating or visiting student. Admissions decisions are based almost exclusively on the applicant's academic performance at his/her home school. Please contact the Office of the Registrar for questions regarding any of the following student statuses:

Definitions

Special students are students who will take only one class at Loyola Law School.

Visiting students are full or part-time students as defined by their home institution. Visiting students may attend the Law School for no more than two semesters (excluding the summer term). Visiting and special students may not apply as transfer students to the Law School.

Auditors are graduates from an ABA law school or are licensed to practice law. Auditors pay a flat rate tuition. Auditors do not take examinations or receive grades.
