JD/MBA Program
The Program
Loyola Law School and the Graduate Program of the College of Business Administration of Loyola Marymount University (LMU) offer a dual degree program in law and business. Graduates of the receive the Juris Doctor degree (JD) from the Law School and the Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Loyola Marymount University.
The Application Process
In order to apply for admission to the JD/MBA program, you must be a Loyola law student in good standing. Applicants may apply to the program immediately after completing their first year of law school. Only full-time day students may apply for admission into the program. Students whose admission to either program would normally be granted on either a conditional or provisional basis will not be accepted into the JD/MBA program. Students interested in the JD/MBA program should complete the following:
- One year of full-time study at Loyola Law School (in Good Standing)
- JDMBA Application 2013 for the JD/MBA Program
- Application for Loyola Marymount University's MBA Program. Please contact LMU's College of Business Administration with any questions.
JD/MBA Admissions Timeline

| 2012-2013 | Complete first year of law school study. |
| May 6, 2013 | Earliest to submit a JD/MBA application. |
| May-August | Application decisions made and students notified. |
| July 1, 2013 | Deadline for JD/MBA application. |
| August 2013 | Students admitted and enrolling to the JD/MBA program should notify the Law School's Office of Student Affairs and Office of Financial Aid as necessary. |
