Georgene Vairo served as the first law clerk to the Honorable Joseph M. McLaughlin, United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She also was an associate specializing in antitrust law at the New York law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. From 1982-1995, she was a member of the faculty of Fordham Law School. During her tenure, she served as an associate dean (1987-1995) and was appointed to the Leonard F. Manning Distinguished Chair (1994). Vairo joined Loyola's faculty in 1995.
