Tuition & Fees
Tuition for the Costa Rica Program is $700 per unit, plus a $300 program fee to cover course materials, shuttles to/from UPeace and Ciudad Colón, field trips and the final fiesta. The $550 deposit, which must accompany the admission application, will be credited toward the cost of tuition.
Room & Board
The cost of housing for the Costa Rica program is $600 per student. Housing will be provided with a host family near the campus in Ciudad Colón and will include breakfast and dinner. Lunch at the UPeace cafeteria is also included. Students who choose to make their own housing arrangements will be reimbursed $600 for room-and-board expenses.
Personal
We stongly encourage applicants to bring extra money to explore Costa Rica's restaurants, entertainment, arts and culture.
Transportation
Travel arrangements (round-trip airfare between the U.S. and Costa Rica) are the responsibility of the student and are not included in the program cost.
