The Semester in Practice Externship is accepting applications for the Spring 2015 and Fall 2015 semesters. This is a capstone experience for those intending to practice in the civil litigation context. Students are placed in some of the top trial practice firms in the Los Angeles area. The benefits of the opportunity are multifold, but highlights include: shadowing at depositions, mediations, arbitrations, court appearances and trials .
Because of the limited number of placements available, the process will be competitive and will take into account your experience, academic record and expressed interest in civil litigation. Students entering as 3Ls or 4Es OR students registered for the Civil Litigation and Advocacy Concentration receive priority for the Semester in Practice Externship.

The application deadline is Wednesday, September 17, 2014.
Please also sign up for an interview using the link on the left side of the TWEN page for Semester in Practice Externship – Spring 2015.
Interviews will be held on Monday, September 22 and Tuesday, September 23 in Founders Hall 225.
