Prior to joining the Loyola faculty in 2007, Jojo was a litigator at Morrison & Foerster, where her practice focused on white collar criminal defense and FCPA compliance counseling.
From 2000 to 2002, Jojo was a Skadden Fellow at Legal Services for Children (NYC) where she represented indigent, disabled youth in suits against the New York City Board of Education. Her fellowship focused on securing appropriate educational placements for autistic children who had been misdiagnosed as “emotionally disturbed.”
Her research and advocacy interests include the prosecution of very young children in juvenile court and the balance of safety and constitutional interests in the school search context.
